Technical Overview
The Eyeblocker Enterprise Laptop solution provides premium protection to organizations and their employees. Each PC laptop is installed with a small piece of software that would send each requested URL to the enterprises Eyeblocker Policy server that would reflect the employees filtering profiles even when the employee is at home or on the road. The Policies for the laptops are maintained through a web interface accessed by IT administrators. Through the web interface, Administrators can set the filtering policies for all laptops or individual laptops.
Functional Overview
The Eyeblocker Enterprise Laptop solution gives organization"s control over the Internet usage of employees who borrow laptops. It is designed to work in tandem with the Eyeblocker Router solution or the Eyeblocker Basic solution.
Instant Message Blocking
Administrators can determine if they want employees with laptops to have access to common instant messaging applications.
P2P Blocking
Administrators can determine if they want employees with laptops to have access to common P2P applications.
Filtering
Filtering policies can be enforced on the laptop, ensuring that even when the laptop is at home, on the road, or connected to the enterprise network; it is governed by the organization"s filtering policies and terms of use.
